Activated carbon is an adsorbent with a highly porous structure and a very large surface that can adsorb and fix harmful gases, odors and other pollutants in exhaust gas.

Activated carbon adsorption boxes are usually composed of activated carbon fillers with a large number of pores. The fillers are usually granular or block activated carbon and may also contain other adsorbents or auxiliary materials.

After the exhaust gas is steamed at high temperature, the generated exhaust gas contains odor and harmful substances. After entering the activated carbon adsorption box, these harmful substances are adsorbed on the surface of the activated carbon, thereby purifying the exhaust gas and making its emission more environmentally friendly.

Over time, the adsorption capacity of the activated carbon surface will gradually become saturated, requiring regular regeneration. Common regeneration methods include thermal regeneration and chemical regeneration, which use heating or chemical solvents to remove adsorbates on the surface of activated carbon and restore its adsorption performance.
